Young Enterprise Scotland

Bridge 2 Business Equalities Impact

We are Young Enterprise Scotland and we work with 15,000 students across Scotland each year, aged between 5 and 30. We provide enterprise and entrepreneurship programmes across primary, secondary and tertiary educational establishments, as well as in prisons, secure and residential units and in partnership with community groups.

Thank you for supporting our Bridge 2 Business Equalities Impact project, which aims to increase awareness of enterprise education for students from targeted groups. In addition, the project seeks to enhance confidence in seeking suitable enterprise education opportunities; widen the ability of all student groups within their local enterprise networks; and improve the understanding of how student groups can seek inspiration and support for self-employment opportunities.

Securing this funding will allow us to reach 2,000 students from colleges across Scotland. We will engage students in enterprise education experiences to promote self-employment as a career path. Industry professionals, partner agencies and tertiary sector educators will help us to measure the impact of the project.
